Designer Admirer

I have been collecting photos and inspirations for my son's bedroom for some time now and there is one photo I keep going back to and saying "Yes, that's it, that's what I want!". My son actually wants a red and yellow room, but he's only four, what does he know! I haven't broken the news that his room will actually be dove grey, pale aqua, sea green and wheat. Very confusing to get your head around names like that when you're four.

Anyway, it's this stunning bedroom created by Bear Hill Interiors, and does the rounds of the blogs on a regular basis. Not hard to see why.

I went back through their portfolio recently and was reminded of all their other stunning work, and thought I'd share some of my favourites, many of which are inspiration for our renovation. I love their use of soft, muted colours, with slashes of strong, bold colour and beautifully blended textures and materials. There's always one element that's a bit quirky in their rooms, that just gives them that wow factor ie a colour, a decorative piece, a material, artwork. All timeless, classic designs but has something that makes it a touch edgy and modern.
