Have just discovered a terrific architecture/interior design team called Workshop/apd based in New York and Nantucket. Their design philosophy focuses on designing and building sustainable and responsible buildings, using more efficient and thus fewer materials. They skilfully give a modern edge to traditional design making it instantly contemporary and classic, building utterly charming, quintessential houses in impossibly picturesque seaside towns.

Here's a couple of examples of their work of beautiful beach houses in Nantucket, MA. Both of these are estates built with several homes, incorporating some historic buildings and others new builds.

And this lovely home at Hedge Hill, Nantucket, MA. Again part of a larger subdivision of several houses.
